We have many opportunities for individuals to make a
difference in
their communities and profession through the
IEEE. The IEEE is
staffed at the local level by volunteers. We need members willing to
step up and volunteer to help us accomplish our mission. Any
IEEE member who might be willing to serve as an officer in

Members in the Hawaii Section:
We extend a hearty welcome to new members, Christopher Acosta,

and Mark Hoffman who joined this month.

(at the Seattle Airport Doubletree Hotel).
*Novemver 5 – Our Section's monthly EXCOM Meeting
This meeting, which starts at 5:30
pm (5 NOV 2013) at Zippy's on
Nimitz, is our monthly
EXCOM meeting. Anyone interested in serving as
an officer for the upcoming year should try to attend or let John Borland

We need candidates for Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
It's an open meeting for IEEE members and guests, i.e., the general public..
