Section Awards

It is Awards time - time to recognize our volunteers/chapters/branches.

Submit your nominations for Section Awards to the Section Chair, john.camery@ieee.org, by 17 November 2013. Winners will be notified on the first of December. 

Here is the schedule for the section/area/Region-6 Awards. We need to recognize our Hawaii members with the relevant awards. This is what helps keep the motivation/enthusiasm among the volunteers. Unless the individual/entity is awarded the relevant award at the section level, they cannot be considered for the Area and Region awards.

Section EXCOM Meeting at Zippy's on Nimitz, November 5, 2013, 5:30pm - It is the first Tuesday of the month.

This meeting, which starts at 5:30 pm (5 Nov. 2013) at Zippy's on Nimitz, is our monthly EXCOM meeting It's an open meeting for IEEE members and guests, i.e. the public. Come out and help plan activities for the remainder of the year, esp., the upcoming elections. We need candidates willing to serve as officers for the upcoming term starting in January. October Section Newsletter

Aloha and welcome to the October issue of the IEEE Hawaii Section Newsletter!
We have many opportunities for individuals to make a difference in
their communities and profession through the IEEE. The IEEE is 

staffed at the local level by volunteers. We need members willing  to 
step up  and volunteer to help us accomplish our mission.  Any 
IEEE member who might be willing to serve as an officer in the

1. New Members in the Hawaii Section:
